Experience a world first at Europa-Park - a virtual rollercoaster ride through reality onboard Alpenexpress Coastiality!
Alpenexpress Coastiality is a virtual reality adventure like never before. Futuristic worlds will unfold before your very eyes whilst you simultaneously experience the rushing air, centrifugal force, and twists and turns of a real world rollercoaster. During the ride visitors will experience an animated 3D world that perfectly matches the actual rollercoaster track.
The virtual reality animated adventure is based on the first 4D film to be produced by MackMedia 'The Secret of Balthasar Castle'. Visitors are immersed in the world of Ed Euromaus and his friends as they experience a wild ride in a mine cart, before returning to the world of Europa-Park on the back of a flying dragon.
This innovation is a cooperation between VR Coaster, Mack Rides, MackMedia, and Samsung.
Just in time for the start of the new Summer Season on 1st April 2017 there will be an additional Coastiality adventure: "Sky Explorers".
Visitors wishing to experience Alpenexpress Enzian with virtual reality can purchase Alpenexpress Coastiality tickets for €2 per person per ride.
Alpenexpress Coastiality tickets are available at the following locations:
- Alpenexpress Coastiality Main Entrance
- Directly in the Coastiality app (available in the App Store, Google Play Store, for GearVR and Daydream). When buying your ticket in the app you will get free access to the corresponding 360° video in the Coastiality app.
