The realization of the European themed concept began in 1981 with the construction of this themed area. And till today, the Italian themed area has lost nothing of its Mediterranean charm.

The seven metre high “Fontana di Paradiso” in the middle of the Italian lake, the dainty pavilion, which is situated on top of a little bridge and the majestic Campanile create an atmosphere, which is typical for Italy. The piazza is surrounded by architectural treasures, held in renaissance and baroque style, with round arches, pillars, arcades and fountains. Cypress trees, pine trees and bougainvillea, together with many typical Italian white statues, complete the picturesque landscape.
