Bistro Tomi Ungerer

Bistro Tomi Ungerer

Since winter 2021, we dedicate our small bistro to the French graphic artist, cartoonist and author Tomi Ungerer. The 'Bistro La Cigale' becomes the 'Bistro Tomi Ungerer'. The Strasbourg born Tomi Ungerer is not only famous for his children books, but also for pushing and questioning the norms of society and politics in his works of art. He supported the Franco-German friendship and a united Europe all his life. In the bistro, numerous drawings, books and memorabilia are on display, as the Alsatian was a close friend of the Mack family and Europa-Park. He even provided his own ideas of deigns in the park.

C'est la vie: a typical bistro as you can only find in France. The bistro Tomi Ungerer enchants you with its real, genuine ambience à la française. You too will love the ambience in the bistro, whether you visit for a coffee break, a small snack or a brief conversation a very friendly setting.
