Winter magic

Numerous attractions swirl through snow-covered landscapes and ensure magical fun. Take a seat in Eurosat – CanCan Coaster, and go on a journey through Paris by night, or discover 'Valerian - The City of a Thousand Planets' at Eurosat Coastiality. During the winter season, the world of Icelandic myths opens its doors when WODAN – Timburcoaster invites daredevils to a spectacular ride. In the Austrian themed area, guests of all ages can embark on a great VR experience in the Alpenexpress Coastiality. The re-opened family attraction Pirates in Batavia invites you on an adventurous boot ride through the Indonesian jungle. During a journey on Voletarium, guests can indulge in the breathtaking landscapes of Europe, and the indoor playground 'World of Wonder' in the Spanish themed area excites the youngest visitors.

The following attractions will remain closed during the winter season: Atlantica SuperSplash, Danube Steamer, Fjord Rafting, Littil Island – Hansgrohe water playground, Quipse Paddle Boats, Tirol log flume, Rocking bridge and wobbling boat, Water Playground and Water Lane

"Clear the ring” is the motto for dancers, artists and clowns in the original circus tent on the festival site of Europa-Park. When the red curtain rises for a brilliant circus revue, the performances will take your breath away. Another highlight awaits you in the Greek themed area - the Ice Show. A brilliant combination of a dazzling show programme, top-class acrobatics and extravagant culinary delights await the guests of the Dinner Show.

Tip: The brilliant 3D video mapping show 'Miraculeux' can be seen on the facade of the 'Eurosat - CanCan Coaster', everyday from 5pm.

The 55-metre-high Bellevue Ferris wheel in the Portuguese themed area offers a wonderful view over Europa-Park - a very special tip in the dark. Little snow fans can spin pirouettes on the large ice rink and in the children's ski school, brave kids can experience their first skiing adventure.

All around the Europe Fountain and in the Historic Balthasar Castle Garden, a cosy Christmas village will this year offer a colourful mix of traditional and new wintery delicacies from the region, but also from all over Europe. Which treat would you like? Once you have refuelled, you can stroll through the Historic Balthasar Castle Garden and enjoy the special Christmas atmosphere that is created by 45 huge figures. Besides the Three Kings, a nativity and large snowmen and ice bears, you can also discover characters from poplar Fairy Tales. The historic handicraft show in the Irish themed area presents traditional professions in numerous tents: Old craftsmanship, happy hustle and bustle in the bathhouse, a wooden carousel for children and an Alpine nativity scene will take visitors back in time.

When it gets dark, torches and fire pits give the market an atmospheric setting.

In the wintertime, a selection of the finest winter treats awaits all foodies. Between snow and Christmas trees, you can warm up with fruit punch or make plans for the rest of your adventurous stay over a traditional bratwurst or freshly baked pastries.
