In cooperation with the Märchenland e.V. association, Europa-Park is dedicating an art exhibition in the blue fire Dome to the famous Danish poet Hans Christian Andersen. The exhibition gives all visitors an insight into one of the poet's special passions: silhouettes. In addition to his more than 150 fairy tales, Hans Christian Andersen probably created hundreds of delicate works of art using only paper and scissors, which he always had at hand during his travels. In no time at all, he conjured up unique animal figures, oriental landscapes or funny figures with which he made children's eyes light up. There are a total of 40 of these silhouettes to admire, which are shown off to their best advantage by digital reproduction in light boxes. In addition, more than 35 drawings by Hans Christian Andersen can be admired.
