Beyond vertical – The new multi launch coaster 2024
Between the Poseidon water coaster and Euro-Mir, the brand-new action-packed rollercoaster Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac is being built!
The new coaster thrills with an unrivalled overall package of thrills, atmosphere and technology and sets new standards in rollercoaster construction. Voltron Nevera combines numerous innovative elements: with seven inversions, four launches, 2.2 seconds of weightlessness in one go and the world record for the steepest launch at 105°, the new roller coaster offers an intense and unrivalled ride experience that is unique in the world.
The new rollercoaster is also the first building stage of the 17. European themed area.
Already at the opening of the new coaster in the 2024 summer season, a 28-metre-high tower was enthroned above the station - reminiscent of the centrepiece of the experiments of the inventor Nikola Tesla, who was born in present-day Croatia. The tower uses cosmic energy to catapult you on an action-packed ride through Croatia.

The name Nevera is derived from the Croatian word for sudden, short storms, usually accompanied by lightning, which occur mainly on the Croatian Adriatic coast.
The Rimac Nevera is regarded as the fastest electric car in the world and the fastest accelerating production vehicle in the world, having set over 20 acceleration and braking records. The Voltron Nevera multi launch coaster also offers an adrenaline rush of a special kind. Europa-Park's 14th rollercoaster has almost 300 stators that catapult launch the trains four times, one of which is backwards.
The idea for the partnership came from Miriam Mack - the wife of Europa-Park's Managing Partner Michael Mack. Miriam comes from Croatia, is devoted to her homeland and wants to bring the country and all its fascinating facets closer to the guests of Europa-Park!
