Winter magic at Europa-Park

Thick snowflakes fly in the sky and the scent of delightful cookies fills the air. Decorated for winter Europa-Park is a very special experience in the cold season. Christmas trees from the region line the paths, with glittering Christmas tree balls. A festively decorated Christmas market invites you to linger, with the splendid scent of mulled wine and roasted almonds. Fairytale 3D projections and numerous cosy campfires ensure magical moments at Europa-Park during the winter season. Europa-Park has dressed up for this time of year. Whether you are a snow lover, or you don't like the cold - the numerous, breathtaking attractions and the top-class show programme will mesmerise everyone.

Europa-Park is open daily from 11am until at least 7pm (closed on 24/25.12) during the winter season.

Please note that, due to technical reasons or weather conditions (e.g. ice, snow, strong wind, unusually high or low temperatures), further closures or changes to the shows and attractions may occur at short notice.

Note regarding the end of the 2026/27 Europa-Park season: The last regular Europa-Park opening day for day visitors without overnight accommodation is Saturday, 9 January 2027.

On Sunday, 10 January 2027, Europa-Park will be open exclusively to invited guests and overnight guests staying at the Europa-Park Resort. This is not a regular opening day, the box office will be closed and ResortPass reservations will not be possible for this day.

Tip: Secure your overnight package at Europa-Park Resort in good time and experience a very special Europa-Park season finale as part of the exclusive opening on 10 January 2027! By the way: the Rulantica water world will be open as usual on 10 January, offering plenty of water fun for all guests – even without an overnight stay.

For last minute visitors: our day tickets
Tickets can be purchased on-site at the ticket office with a €10¹ surcharge on the online ticket price. Tickets without a specific date must be dated before visiting at europapark.de/exchange. 

Undated tickets and adding a date
If the tickets are not dated at admissions check, entry to Europa-Park cannot be guaranteed. A service fee of €10¹ per ticket applies to for subsequent on-site dating.

Winter Magic highlights

During the winter season, the Winter Circus Revue ‘Monte Carlo Circus Festival meets Europa-Park’ at Europa-Park invites you to marvel at exciting show acts and award-winning artists from Monaco! Meanwhile, in the French themed area, Miraculeux, the 3D video mapping show on the façade of the Eurosat – CanCan Coaster, enchants young and old alike with colourful projections! In the Globe Theatre, our new show Happy Merry Christmas will delight audiences young and old with festive songs and playful choreography. In the Greek themed area, Surpr'Ice presents a Christmas Dream, the spectacular Christmas ice show, promises unforgettable fun for the whole family.

Every year again...

... Europa-Park is transforming into a winter wonderland! Discover the Winter season highlights and get in the mood for Christmas in a magical atmosphere!

During the most beautiful time of year, Europa-Park invites you to feast on Christmas specialities at the festive Christmas market and in our Nordic Winter Village while you look for the perfect Christmas presents. All young guests can get a taste of being on skis in the Skitty World Nordic as well as in the children's ski school 'Alpin'.
Afterwards, young and old can put their skills to the test together on our ice rink, enjoy a magnificent view over the entire theme park on the Bellevue Ferris wheel or experience unique fun on one of over 100 attractions.

Higher, further, faster? Our rollercoasters provide that certain kick, even in winter! Whether lightning-fast turns on our wooden rollercoaster WODAN - Timburcoaster or rapid descents on the Eurosat - CanCan Coaster - we make the hearts of every rollercoaster fan beat faster!

Winter moments for the smaller visitors

In the Scandinavian themed area, the Nordic Winter Village promises bright children's eyes, especially for our younger visitors: here, young and old can glide across the ice rink together or enjoy a cup of fruit punch. Right next door, youngsters have the opportunity to show off their skiing skills in the Skitty World Nordic, while a variety of different games can be discovered in the Winter World of Wonder in the new Winterland themed area! A ride on Snorri Touren is recommended for the very youngest: on a relaxed journey, accompanied by cheerful music, you will get to know the world of Rulantica and its inhabitants better.

Take your family on a stroll through our Christmas market at the Historic Balthasar Castle Park and sample some winter treats. Afterwards, take a ride on the Bellevue Ferris wheel in the Portuguese themed area for a breathtaking view over the magically decorated Europa-Park.

Winter magic at Europa-Park

The scent of mulled wine and toasted almonds fills the air

In the winter time, a wide selection of the finest winterly delights await all those foodies out there. If you prefer the cosiness, you're just at the right place at the Hut Magic. In the ERDINGER Hütt‘n, the visitors can experience a hearty evening in the cosy hut on selected dates - whether a cheese fondue with traditional live-music or over a hearty feast.

In the German themed area, the Christmas market invites you to enjoy and linger with mulled wine, punch and all kinds of other delicacies. You can also look forward to classic venison goulash with spaetzle, wintery waffle variations, great burgers and much more in our gastronomy outlets!

During the 2025 winter season, the pavilion in the French themed area will be transformed into a warm bakery where you can find a fine selection of biscuits, pastries and chocolates from the traditional Swiss brand Kambly, and decorate your own gingerbread hearts in a cosy atmosphere.

In the Ice Bar in the Spanish themed area, delicious ice mulled wine awaits you, while you can fuel up with bratwurst in a roll, soup and pancakes at the ice rink snack in the Nordic Winter Village.

We recommend a visit to SPICES for all those wishing for summer to return. During the Thai Weeks, you will feel as if you were in Asia.
