Scandinavian Sauna Week

During Scandinavian Sauna Week from 21 February to 1 March 2026, Hyggedal will be offering plenty of relaxation in a unique atmosphere. Guests aged 16+ can indulge in the art of blissful sweating all day long in the exclusive sauna and wellness area of the Rulantica water world, with Nordic-inspired infusions and treatments.

While Nordic-themed infusions in the Sauna ‘stor’ ensure guests' well-being, the KOTA Sauna Chalet offers, among other things, an authentic beer infusion for a sweaty treat. Highlights here include the Viking infusion with mead and the Wenik infusion with pickled birch branches.

In the ‘Damp Huset’ steam bath, guests can improve their health with cold water and hot air treatments. In addition, various scrubs ranging from salt to sugar and refreshing algae and chocolate face masks are available as a special pampering programme for the skin.

The relaxation programme is perfectly rounded off in the ‘lille’ sauna, where incense and sound bowl ceremonies put guests into a state of deep relaxation before they enjoy the view over the water world on one of the numerous loungers or on a cosy hygge sofa (optionally bookable).

This year, the Hyggedal sauna masters will be supported by Pure Nature Oil for the first time: professional guest steamers and an information point on the subject of natural saunas offer the perfect complement to Scandinavian Sauna Week.
