In summer, the extensive outdoor area attracts visitors of all ages to Rulantica. The 26,000-square-metre outdoor area features splashing water attractions, two heated outdoor pools, sandy beaches with sunbathing areas and lots of slides.

The eye-catcher of the outdoor area is the Nordic outdoor world of slides Svalgurok with ten slides and over 100 play options. Right next door, visitors to the water world can take a dip in the Svømmepøl outdoor pool. With plenty of space for swimming, splashing about and relaxing, it offers that holiday feeling all year round, set amidst a fascinating volcanic landscape featuring geysers, a grotto and bubble loungers.

Snorri Strand provides adventurous fun, especially for the youngest visitors to the water world, with slides suitable for children, water games and an interactive play corner. Snorri's Dune on the sandy beach is also a great place to relax and build sandcastles. In Frigg Temple, cooling off is not only guaranteed in the pool, but also at the swim-up bar, and Dynstrønd attracts visitors with its wonderfully fine sand.
