Here, the fun of road cycling is guaranteed! Four days, four different tours in the particularly scenic cycling destination in South Baden. The guided tours are designed as tourist excursions for hobby road cyclists, not for competitive athletes.

And afterwards? Cadence at 0, heart rate up again! Europa-Park and the Rulantica water world are waiting!

The best - even partners and families who do not share the passion for cycling can expect a great short holiday! And you can choose whether you arrive on Wednesdays or Fridays as a companion!

Road cycling tours

Alsace Tour
Length 71 km; Elevation 120 hm

On this first tour, we cross the Rhine twice and ride through a charming landscape both on the German side and in neighbouring Alsace. The flat Rhine plain offers a good start as a warm-up tour, especially for riders who have not yet had the opportunity to cover a lot of kilometres during the season, to get back into shape.

Kaiserstuhl Tour
Length 70 km; Elevation 580 hm

The famous wine-growing region on the Upper Rhine captivates with its unique landscape, featuring its very own flora and fauna. But cycling history was also written here, and so our second tour to the Kaiserstuhl naturally includes cycling classics like the Texas Pass. But don't worry, even if the gradient briefly reaches double figures, we'll approach the Texas Pass from the inner Kaiserstuhl - more scenic and less demanding.

Black Forest Tour into the Schutter Valley
Length 75 km; Elevation gain 570 hm

For beautiful cycling days in the region, selected rides into the Black Forest are obligatory. Our third round tour therefore leads us from Europa-Park in a northerly direction into the beautiful Schuttertal, in the Black Forest. On quiet, low-traffic roads and without gaining an excessive amount of altitude. Back we go in a relaxed way through charming villages in the Rhine valley.

Black Forest Tour to Freiamt
Length 70 km; Elevation 690 hm

Our fourth and last tour takes us once again into the beautiful Black Forest,
this time in a southerly direction and via Freiamt. This Black Forest region
is a scenic dream and contains real insider tips for every road bike fan.
Back at Europa-Park, after four consecutive days of cycling tours, each
participant can now look forward to all the amenities that the Europa-Park
Resort offers its guests to bring these cycling days to a successful end.

Booking Information
  • Arrival should be by 11am on Wednesdays. Start of the first tour is at noon.
  • If the minimum number of participants of 6 people is not reached by 4 weeks before the date of arrival, we reserve the right to cancel. Maximum 12 participants

The package can only be booked conveniently online.

ONLINE BOOKING

Please add accompanying persons who are not taking part in the cycling programme in the comments field (special requests etc.) at the end of the booking process. Please also confirm whether the accompanying person will arrive on Wednesday or Friday. You will then be informed of the correct total price in the booking confirmation.

FAQ

Day of arrival and departure
  • Individual arrival of the participants at hotel 'Krønasår'
  • The luggage can be stored in the luggage room
  • Changing facilities are available in the pool area as well as in the fitness and sauna areas. You will receive an access card for the spa area when checking in at reception.
  • You access your room after arriving back from the first bike tour on Wednesday
  • You will have access to your room until 11am on your day of departure. Please settle your hotel bill by then if you have selected payment by credit card.
    You are welcome to use the Europa-Park hotel facilities throughout the day. Please ask for a pool and sauna card for the day of departure at reception.

11.40am: Short introduction of guide Christof Steier, briefing of the participants on the organisation of the tours, bike-check
12pm: Start of the first tour
4pm: Individual visit to Europa-Park
6.30 -10pm: Dinner with buffet at Bubba Svens restaurant

Thursday:

7 - 10am: Breakfast at Bubba Svens restaurant.
10am: Distribution of lunch packages at the Road Cycling Days counter in the hotel lobby
11am: Start of the second tour
4pm: Individual visit to Europa-Park
6.30 - 10pm: Dinner with buffet at Restaurant Bubba Svens

Friday:

7- 10am: Breakfast at Bubba Svens restaurant.
10am: Distribution of lunch packages at the Road Cycling Days counter in the hotel lobby
11am: Start of the third tour
5pm: Individual visit to the water world Rulantica
6.30 -10pm: Dinner with buffet in the restaurant Bubba Svens

Saturday:

11am: Start of the fourth tour

8.30am: VIP entry to Europa-Park for hotel guests, selected attractions are open
9am: Europa-Park completely open
