This season, the ‘FRANCE’ theme world in the Mercedes-Benz Hall is once again all about the world’s fastest racing series. While the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team celebrated winning the 8th Constructors' Championship in a row in the 2021 season, the electric Mercedes-EQ Formula E Team won twice with the titles of Team World Champion and Driver World Champion.
The Formula 1 theme world ‘MONACO’ is dedicated to the victorious Silver Arrows, their racing drivers and their team. Visitor can immerse themselves in the fascinating world of Mercedes-AMG motorsport and finds themselves on one of the most legendary and exciting racetracks in the world: the Monaco Grand Prix. In keeping with the French themed area, where the Silver Star and other associated attractions can be found, visitor can experience the glamorous motorsport atmosphere of Monaco along the racetrack, both indoors and outdoors. At the centre of the staging, framed by large-format spatial images of the spectacular backdrop of Monaco, is an impressive banked curve that features a Formula 1 show car and an original safety car.
In another exhibition room under the label ‘PARIS’, everything revolves around the all-electric Formula E racing series and the future-focused EQ technology. The whole room, from the race map to the life-size figures of Formula E drivers Vandoorne and De Vries, has the theme ‘We Race The City’. The all-electric EQ series from Mercedes-Benz will also find its way into the MB Hall in the form of an exclusive show car. The shiny EQB welcomes visitors in the entrance area with motifs from the campaign and invites them to discover more about the battery-powered luxury vehicles from Mercedes-EQ via attached QR codes. ‘MONACO’ and ‘PARIS’ fuel the electrifying fascination with speed and motorsport and prepare the visitors for the Silver Star.
