Assistance dogs

Assistance dogs, which can be identified as such by the corresponding badge or by showing the ‘Human-Assistance-Dog-Community’ card, may be taken to shows in which no animals are part of the show. The dogs must be kept close to the owner and the instructions of the show staff must be followed. A hygiene kit for disposing of dog excrement must be carried with you at all times. 

Animals are generally not permitted on rides. Exceptions to this are our means of transport the EP-Express, Monorail Train and Panorama Train, as well as the Euro-Tower and the Dome of Dreams (Nikola Tesla's Beautiful Croatia) attractions, where assistance dogs may be taken along.

General information

We are committed to making as many attractions accessible to guests with disabilities as possible. As part of this, a number of attractions are already accessible to guests with physical disabilities and visual impairments.

The minimum requirements for the use of attractions by guests with disabilities can be found on each the following subpages:

• Guests with hearing Impairments

Please note:

• Only use an attraction if you are physically able to do so. If necessary, talk to your doctor before your visit.
• Both the minimum height and the minimum age must be met for all of our attractions. Some ride systems also have a maximum size. If the limits are either not reached or exceeded, use of the attraction cannot be permitted.
• Some of our rides experience high lift forces, which is why these rides use special restraint systems. If these restraint systems are not working properly, they cannot be used.
• Persons who are under the noticeable influence of alcohol, drugs or medication cannot be permitted to ride.
• Persons with acute injuries or who have recently had an operation may not be permitted to ride.
• Animals such as assistance dogs, for example, cannot generally be taken on rides. (Means of transport and Euro Tower excluded).
• Loose, sharp or bulky items or medical supplies may not be allowed on a ride.
• Boarding and disembarking must be done independently and communication with our employees must be guaranteed. If necessary, this must be done with the help of an accompanying person who is at least 16 years old and who is able to walk, see and hear without restrictions.
• In the case of guests with disabilities who are able to use a ride, evacuation may take longer as this may be carried out by specially trained personnel.

Reduced waiting times at attractions for guests with disabilities

As a rule, guests with disabilities who have an appropriate disability ID card can access the attractions via a separate entrance to avoid long queues.

Priority access with one companion
On presentation of a disability card or autism pass to our attraction staff, the cardholder can enter the attractions with a companion through a special entrance.
Guests from countries where there is no official disability card can instead present the Green Card (see next section) together with photo ID at the attractions to benefit from this service. In order to obtain the Green Card, it is necessary to present alternative proof of disability at the Information Desk by the Tower.

Priority access with several companions
Upon presentation of a disability card at the Information Desk by the Tower, a Green Card can be issued, giving access to six attractions with up to four companions. To do so, the green card must be presented in combination with photo ID at the desired attraction and validated by the attraction staff for each ride.

Access to the attractions
Depending on the attraction, priority access for guests with disabilities can be gained via the exit, Baby-Switch entrance, special entrance or VirtualLine entrance. Please ask our staff at the entrance of each attraction for more information. Please note:

• All official national disability cards and autism passes issued by the authorities are accepted.
• The attraction can only be used in accordance with the safety regulations.
• The original of any disability certificate must be presented.
• The contents of a disability certificate must be comprehensible to our employees.
  Our employees must be able to understand the contents of the disability certificate. If necessary, a translation into German, English or French must be provided.
• The Green Card can only be used in the presence of the cardholder.
• The current waiting time must pass before the same attraction can be used again.
