Colour, imagination, movement and pure joie de vivre: The exhibition 'James Rizzi meets Rollercoasters' brings the distinctive visual world of American Pop Art artist James Rizzi to Europa-Park. From 30 October 2026 to 9 January 2027, over 60 pieces by the internationally renowned artist will be on display in the Croatian themed area as part of the 'Art in the Park' programme.
Organised in collaboration with the Neues Kunstmuseum Tübingen, the exhibition draws on key themes from Rizzi’s body of work, combining them with the unique atmosphere of Europa-Park. Travelling and movement symbolise curiosity and a spirit of adventure, while a zest for life embodies the positive energy of his art. New York plays a special role: Rizzi’s hometown and primary source of inspiration, with its bustling streets, people, traffic and unmistakable skyline, appears time and again in his works.
The approximately 60 pieces on display will open up a world of imagination, movement and optimism for visitors. 'James Rizzi meets Rollercoasters' uniquely demonstrates just how closely art and experience can be intertwined, showing that the joy of art knows no age limits.
