Proof of authorisation
Medical face mask
We explicitly ask you to ensure that you have all documents mentioned above prior to your arrival. If you don't have all documents, a visit (despite a valid entry ticket / valid reservation confirmation) is not possible.
The documents will be checked on site in the visitor car park, at the main entrance, or at the hotel reception respectively. A photo ID is mandatory.
Proof of authorisation must be one of the three following documents:
Officially accepted, negative Corona test result (PCR or quick test), which at the time of arrival is no older than 24 hours. A negative test result is required for visitors aged 6+. Please note: Only tests from an official test site are accepted. Brought along self-tests are not accepted.
If an 'official confirmation' for quick tests doesn't show a time, this confirmation is only valid on the day of issue, not for the following day. The confirmation must be signed.
Please bring your proof of vaccination in form of an official vaccination passport or in form of digital proof via an app. The proof of vaccination must be recognised by an official organisation and contain the following information: first and last name, vaccine, date of vaccination.
The proof of full vaccination must be older than 14 days. If you have received your full vaccination on 01.06.2021, you are considered 'fully vaccinated' from the 15.06.2021 and can visit the Europa-Park Theme Park and Resort from that day.
Please bring your positive PCR laboratory-test result which is older than 28 days. If your positive test result is older than 6 months, you will also have to bring your official proof of vaccination in form of your vaccination passport or digital proof. You will be considered fully vaccinated from the date of your vaccination. .
You must present a negative test result per day you want to visit, which must not be older than 24 hours at the time of arrival. We strongly recommend arriving with a negative test result as entry can otherwise not be guaranteed. If you would like to get tested on your way, you can see the testing sites on the Ortenaukreis website.
If you cannot produce any of the mentioned proofs of authorisation, we have a limited number of test facilities on site for exceptional circumstances.
Depending on demand, very long queues are likely. The testing capacity is very limited and reserved for exceptional circumstances.
For visitors living in Germany, these tests are free. Please note, that the law requires a testing fee of €25.39¹ per person for international guests.
Example: You arrive at 9am and your test result is valid until 11am. You should therefore entre Europa-Park before 11am, so that your proof of authorisation can be used. Should you arrive at Europa-Park after 11am, or would like to visit Europa-Park on the second day, too, you will need a new test result.
Take a test at home in a test centre on the day before your arrival, according to the criteria mentioned, and benefit from a quick check-in process.
In order to visit Europa-Park or the water world Rulantica, you have to have a valid proof of authorisation for each day you want to visit. If you are visiting the parks on the day of your arrival, you can use the same proof of authorisation for the hotel check in as well as park entry. Please note that the 24 hours validity of the negative test results must not be expired. If your negative test result is dated at 3pm, the check in and entry to the parks must happen before 3pm on the day of your arrival.

What kind of masks are accepted? The following masks are accepted as medical face masks: Surgery masks or FFP2 and 3 masks. Medical face masks are known from hospitals and GPs. They are made from special materials, are rectangular with folds and usually green or blue on the front. The back (inside) is white. They have ear loops and a wire or metal strip over the nose.
Why is wearing a face mask mandatory? Wearing a face mask is mandatory because it helps to stop the spread of Coronavirus. In order to protect yourself and others, it is important to wear the mask over mouth and nose. It especially protects others from infections. The person wearing the mask is also protected, if the mask is worn properly. It doesn't mean, however, that there is a 100% protection.
The health of visitors and employees has always been the highest priority for us. Therefore, the rules and regulations of the authorities for handling COVID-19 are strictly adhered to. Guests are also urged to behave in accordance with the respective applicable rules and regulations and to visit the Europa-Park Theme Park and Resort only if they are in good health.
To ensure that Europa-Park Theme Park and Resort can be explored by visitors in a safe and carefree manner, a comprehensive safety and hygiene concept has been introduced. All measures are constantly adapted to current regulations and developments.
